Microsoft Launches Copilot Vision to Revolutionize Human-Computer Interaction

Microsoft AI has officially unveiled Copilot Vision, a next-generation AI assistant integrated directly into its Edge browser. This new technology can see what is on a user's screen and converse in real time as they navigate the internet, representing a fundamental shift in human-computer interaction. In an exclusive discussion, Mustafa Suleyman, CEO of Microsoft AI, explained that the vision is to build a true AI companion. He described an ideal companion as one that can hear what users hear, see what they see, and essentially live life alongside them. Copilot Vision is currently rolling out to paying Copilot subscribers through Copilot Labs. This allows users to experiment with the technology and provide feedback before its general availability, which is scheduled for early next year. By replacing traditional typing and clicking with real-time voice and screen comprehension, Microsoft aims to make interacting with computers feel more like talking to a friend than operating a machine.
